DHARUG WATER CEREMONY

Visitors to the ICF Slalom World Championships will be given a cultural greeting on Monday 29th September 2025, by the traditional owners of the lands and waters of Penrith. The Dharug people will be giving a water ceremony, which is akin to the more widely-known Smoking Ceremony, though in place of smoke, water - a natural cleanser - is used.
